President’s Message

Dear Sisters,

Many hands make little work, such was the case of Fr. Bong's farewell dinner. He will be missed, but always remember he was a YLI member. How proud am I to welcome our newest sisters from Gridley. This should put all of us thinking on the vows we took at initiation and always mindful of our watch words. May we unite as a stronger institute, strive to be sisterly-as our actions bring credit or discredit to all we do, and protect each other as sisters do. As we all work together, we will grow as Y.L.I. members.

With Sisterly Love,

Nita

Dear Sisters,

As some of you know, I am living in the United States, but born and raised in Asuncion, Paraguay in South America. I have the privilege of commuting to graduate School at UC Davis to study Forensic Science. My student Visa does not allow me to take a part-time job in our community. This is why I would like to offer my services to you. Perhaps I can help you with house work, yard work, running errands, baby-sitting or driving you to an important meeting or appointments. My hours are flexible and hourly rate negotiable. If I can be of service to you, please call me.

In Sisterly Love,

Adri

Note of Appreciation

When we least expect it our lives change. It has happened to all of us at different times and in different ways. My change was the loss of my Bill. Fortunately, for me and my family you all were there with your caring, comfort, prayers, and hugs. You helped make the party that we gave Bill so special. We could count on you in so many ways, and we could not have done it without you. My family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

June, Alexandria, and John McJunkin
