President’s Message

Dear Sisters,

Fall is here and the cooler weather is more than welcome. As I look forward to the Christmas Basket Raffle and Boutique, I hope that all of you enjoy good health and spiritual harmony. Many thanks to Pat Giertych, Sandy Duncan, Jerry Himenes, Leona Field, Roberta Lomeli, and Cille ILbbotson for all that you did to make the Deanery meeting and luncheon a huge success. Thanks also to all the ladies who donated raffle prizes. Welcome Rosa Saldivar and Lucille Berg and may your membership bring you many blessings. Congratulations Luci and Joe Fisher on the arrival of your new granddaughter. Congratulations June McJunkin on the news of your coming grandchild. Remember to continue the selling of raffle tickets and See's Candy. These fund raisers bring us both joy and the ability to help others. Always remember our sisters on the prayer list and the power of the rosary.

In Sisterly Love,

Nita

Hip-Hip Hooray Lidia!

An awesome evening was had by all who attended Lidia's annual Garden Party. Thanks go out to our hostess Lidia, who so graciously opens her home and garden for all of us to enjoy each year. The weather was absolutely perfect. We also appreciate those members who brought food to share with Lidia's chicken tostados and delicious cake. The food was yummy, and we definitely did not leave hungry. A special thanks to Maria Huefner for taking us down memory lane with lots of laughter with her YLI photo albums. All those in attendance had a wonderful array of plants to choose from for the exchange. We all left with the blessing of happy hearts and friendships.
