President’s Message

Dear Sisters,

Fall is here! it is a wonderful time of the year filled with many festive holidays and celebrations. During this season we see the leaves changing colors and dropping from the trees spreading a blanket over the earth to prepare and preserve God's creatures from the chilly, cold winter coming soon. In November, we join with others who have lost loved ones as we remember them on All Souls Day. We celebrate with the saints in heaven, who are models of Christian living. We gather together at Thanksgiving to give thanks to God for all the Blessings bestowed on us, our family, and friends.

November is a busy time. Only a few paychecks before Christmas will be here. Shopping, decisions, frustrations, crowds, worries and often the feeling of not enough time to accomplish all that is expected at this time of the year. As we prepare for the coming Advent Season, let's keep our focus on satisfying our spiritual needs. Advent is a time of waiting. Of course, we all do plenty of that in our everyday life. We hurry up to be on time for an appointment and wait! It is a part of life. Offering up all of these minutes of waiting for our soldiers away from family, for those suffering from a terminal illness, or for the needy, will ease the frustration, give you peace of mind and fill your heart and soul with God's Grace and Love! Thank you to each one for sharing your time and talents as a YLI member. All the many achievements of YLI could not be realized without you and your prayerful support.

God bless each one of you!

Carol

Please pray and remember... the souls of Joseph LeClair, father of Jackie Jacenich, and for Joyce Bybee, who passed away in September, and for Roma O'Hare, mother of Patti Reardon, who passed away in October.

Pray for World Peace and inner peace for those suffering from emotional stress and turmoil.
Please remember our elderly, lonely, and infirm sisters in your prayers.
