 In
the Fall of the school year 2003-04 two significant events occurred which
are documented here. The first was during Fire Prevention Month. |
 Firefighters
from the Yuba City Fire Department (YCFD), visited our campus to speak
to our students. |
 The
YCFD personnel and their message were greeted with great enthusiasm. |

The second event was
the Blessing of the Animals at the celebration of the feast day of St.
Francis of Assisi (feast day October 4).
 |
 Our students brought their household pets and then some. Everything from cats to horses were in attendance. |
