Lost in Paradise

St. Isidore School Dinner and Auction Fundraiser

On February 19, 2005 our annual St. Isidore School Dinner and Auction was held. A record number of parents, family and friends attended with roughly 250 persons in attendance. The food was great, the auction successful and the fun with all fabulous! Below are some pictures taken as we finished decorating for the evening.

The evening reflected a Polynesian Theme. The evening had entertainment from Grant High School's Polynesian Dance Troop. The Caterer was Paul Lima from "The Italian Guy." The Knights of Columbus served at the Bar..And.. a Giant eleven foot Volcano met the guests when they arrived.
Bid tables were the Hawaiian Islands.

Each guest table was a separate south pacific island.

Mike Lee provided Mood Lighting with battery operated sconces. Everyone had a great time and said so!

What a great night...our fundraiser exceeded our goal (about $28,000), plus we received a $15K private donation.

Mike Taylor, golf aficionado at the podium!

Thank you to the members of the Knights of Columbus who helped make the night a success.   Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with solicitations, thank you notes, basket making, publicity, decorations, set up, transportation, reservations, banking, errands, and all the specific jobs the evening of the event. And a special thank you to the student volunteers.
