Dear Principal Attached is a roster of our students, including some of your former students, who are members of the California Scholarship Federation this fall. Membeship in CSF is based on student initiative (not ever student who qualifies applies), as well as a cumulative score based upon academic scholarship (not based solely on a 4 point g.p.a. system). Students who consistently maintain a g.p.a. above3.5 are usually qualified for membership in the CSF. We are providing this information to you so that you can see how well your alumni are doing at CB and so that you may congratulate them on their academic success the next time you see them. Meagan Lenihan and Murphy Gant are graduates this year of Yuba City High School. But most important is that their educational talents and faith were nurtured at St. Isidore Catholic School, where they were students who graduated in 1999. Congratulations are extended to them since they were each awarded a competitive $500 scholarship from the St. Isidore Council of the Knights of Columbus. Below they are pictured receiving their awards at the June 7, 2003 K of C Bar-B-Q where they were honored guests. |
