Teacher Appreciation Week - May 5th - 9th, 2008
"I am indebted to my father for living, but to my teacher for living well”
- Alexander the Great
Teacher Appreciation week is an opportunity to acknowledge the educators in your child's life. It is designed to mark the gratitude for teachers felt by students, parents, and employers alike and will be celebrated in a variety of ways from special activities to the presentation of teacher appreciation gifts and cards.
Without the strong dedication and drive of our teachers, St. Isidore Catholic School would not be the wonderful place it is today. Please help us to acknowledge the hard work of our caring staff this week.
The room parents organize the week by asking groups of students to bring a small item: cards, flowers, homemade cookies, etc. on different days throughout the week so the teacher receives something each day. Please contact your child's room parent if you have questions about recognizing your child's teacher.
