Sanctity of Life Events
January 2006

I have set before you life and death ... choose LIFE so that you and your descendants may live!
Deuteronomy 30:19

A great poverty reigns in a country that allows taking the life of an unborn child...A child created in God's image, created to live and to love.
Mother Teresa

January is the month for remembering the 1.3 million babies that are aborted each year in the United States. Our parish, in collaboration with the Diocese of Sacramento's Respect Life Office, and other local churches in our area participates in various pro-life activities, to respectfully atone for these killings and to educate others in our greater community.

Below are pictures where parishioners and many others, in the thousands, participated in the Walk for Life (January 21 in San Francisco) and the Pro-Life Mass, Rosary and Prayer Breakfast (January 24 in Sacramento), as well as the Baby Shower campaign in support of our local women's center, A Woman's Friend.
