K of C Basketball Free-throw Contest

On
Sunday, January 25, 2004 the Knights of Columbus sponsored the annual
Basketball Free-throw Contest. Contestants were invited from throughout
our area. Thanks to Bro. David Hrivnak for organizing the whole event.
Also, thanks go to other Brother Knights who helped, i.e., Dep. Grand
Knight Jim Levy, Bro. Brian Richard, Bro. Jim Whiteaker, and Bro. Bob
Guerin (our photographer). Also, congratulations go out to the over
20 boys and girls who participated as contestants. One young man made
14 out of 15 attempts and went on to the district competition where
he even did better and won again. Our council sends two competitors
to the next level at Regionals on February 28, 2004.Thank you for a
successful program.
