Hospital Ministry
![]() |
Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone in good spirits? He should sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up If he has committed any sins he will be forgiven." James, 5:13-15 |
Members of the Hospital Ministry will visit Catholic patients while they are hospitalized in Fremont or Rideout Hospitals. A member of the Hospital Ministry will pray with the patient and his/her family and provide religious prayer booklets, leaflets and holy cards which may be used during subsequent private meditations.
Please note: The Hospital Ministry cannot initiate a visit with a Catholic patient (Medical Privacy Act--2003) and must rely upon the patient's family or close friends to make the request on the patient's behalf.
For more information or to make a request please contact:
- Christina Hahus or Sue West through the
- St. Isidore parish office at 673-1573
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me. Then the righteous will answer him and say, 'Lord when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thisty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we se you ill or in prison, and visit you?' And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me'."
Matthew 26:35-40
