Fr. Bong was formally installed as our Pastor at the 5 p.m. Saturday Evening Vigil Mass on August 20, 2005. Fr. Benedict DeLeon, the Dean of the North Valley Deanery of Priests and the Pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Oroville, presided over the installation. Also participating in the installation were Fr. Gian Luca, of the Diocese of Milan, Italy; our Parochial Vicar Fr. Juan Perez; and St. Isidore Deacons Ruben Rojo and Eldon Vignery. Representative members of the many St. Isidore ministries and councils also attended the Mass, along with our many parishioners and Fr. Bong's family. Below are pictures from the Installation Mass and the pot luck reception that immediately followed.

Eternal God, please bless our priests, who represent You on earth. Make them more greatly aware of the grace that You pour out through them when they minister the sacraments, and help them to fall more deeply in love with You after each and every Mass they celebrate. Please strengthen our priests, who shepherd Your flock. Assure them when they are in doubt of their faith and aid them to be examples of Your truth and so they may guide us always on the path to You. We ask these things of You, our eternal Priest. Amen.
