Continuing Education Day
"A Wounded Innocence"
On Saturday October 6, 2007 St. Isidore Parish hosted a Continuing Education Day for all Deacons of the Diocese of Sacramento. Presented by Rev. Pedro Lopez, Fr. Lopez provided an understanding of art as an environment for liturgy and worship. As noted in Professor Garcia-Rivera's book, the focus was on an answer to the question "Can art convey theology?" The workshop was coordinated by Sr. Paulina Hurtado of the Office of the Permanent Diaconate and our own Deacon Ruben Rojo and his wife Rebecca. Below are some pictures from this event.
