The Offertory
The gifts presented at Mass are always bread and wine. On special occasions, we add some other things like flowers, candles, fruit, and food to share with the needy families in the community. Actually, we should do this every weekend. The moment of the offertory, is not only a ritual repeated every time in which frequently we put no attention. As the priests prays, the community praises God; for His goodness we have the bread and wine to offer, and they are the fruit of the earth and the work of human hands.

In these last words we have to read the real intention, namely, it is us, the whole humanity, offered together with bread and wine to be transformed by the Holy Spirit into the Church of Christ, the People of God, but especially to transform our sinful life into a life of Grace, Forgiveness, Respect, and Love. This fact comes to a reality at the moment when we approach to receive the Holy Communion, Christ enters into our bodies and becomes part of us; moreover, we become part of Him, the Church of God with Jesus our Head and we His Body.

El Ofertorio
Las ofrendas que presentamos en la Misa son siempre pan y vino. En ocasiones especiales agregamos otras como flores, velas, fruta y comida para compartir con las familias necesitadas en la comunidad. De hecho, esto lo deberíamos hacer cada fin de semana. El momento del ofertorio no es un rito repetitivo al que frecuentemente no ponemos atención. Así como dice el sacerdote, la comunidad bendice a Dios; por su bondad tenemos el pan y vino para ofrecer y ellos son el fruto de la tierra y del trabajo del hombre.
